Michelle and I spent a long weekend in Tofino. I've started working through some of the photos and will be posting some over the next few days.

Leap year photo walk

It was sunny today and the gym could wait.

The light started to be very nice and I took some 'architectural' photos. Which I don't do that often


I really like the light in this photo


Of course I had to wander down to the river


A photographer I follow on flickr once said that as long as he still found the cracks in the pavement interesting, he'd continue to go out and shoot


Funny things happen with polarizers


I followed the sun and found the river was very low tonight


The clouds were interesting so I tried to get a few different types of sunset images along the same stretch


The light fades pretty quickly


And soon you need to be on the lookout for man made illumination
